Are you feeling squeezed? Gasoline and food prices have doubled in the past four years. After you fill your gas tank and buy groceries, the paycheck is spent. There are more than a million homes in foreclosure because people can't pay the mortgage.

Meanwhile, Congressman Ed Markey has introduced legislation called iCAP designed to further increase the cost of energy. In fact, for decades Markey has contributed to rising prices. He's prevented us from tapping into America's vast wealth of energy resources and blocked the building of new nuclear power plants and oil refineries. It is time to stop the "Markey Markup" of gas and energy prices.
The "Cunningham Cut"
John Cunningham's solution is simple: cut prices by getting the government out of the way. End restrictions on exploration and production, end restrictions on new refineries and nuclear plants, and end military intervention in the Middle East that creates enemies and disrupts commerce. Encourage investment in renewable energy through tax breaks, not tax increases. The economy is in crisis and the solution is the "Cunningham Cut".
