Not a dime's worth of difference?

Not a dime's worth of difference? It depends on your perspective.

From where we stand, the D's and R's seem to agree on almost everything: fractional reserve banking, income tax, social security, America as the world's policeman, preemptive wars, war on drugs, etc.

However, for the average American who's bought into all of that, those things are removed from the discussion, so the R's and D's seem to disagree on almost everything: gay rights, gun control, socialized medicine, etc.

So when we say, "not a dime's worth of difference," people may smile, but inwardly they think we're crazy.
